Whereas tax cuts for the economic elite mean they can invest that much more in American
industry; whereas the public services reduced by such tax cuts (health care, child care, education, public
transportation, etc.), contribute nothing to American industrial dominance; whereas tax cuts favoring the non-elite classes would likewise contribute nothing to American
industrial dominance, and would go merely to enhance quality of life; therefore we, the undersigned, support the Bush Administration's tax cuts for the elite, and
agree to the reduction in public services (health care, child care, education, public transporta-
tion, etc.)that necessarily results. |
